Tibetans believe that if one has the karma to complete a full 53- kilometer pilgrimage circuit (kora) around the base of Ngan Son, that person’s consciousness will be transformed and all of their karmic obstacles will be eliminated. Throughout the kora, those who meet on the path will be reborn together in the same family and remain spiritual family members (Bodhi kin) forever
