DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY ✈ SHANGHAI – TAIYUAN –WUTAI SHAN (Oct 10, 2027) (meals on your own)
Meet guests at Tan Son Nhat International Airport for check-in. Depart
for Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China, transit via Shanghai. Upon arrival,
have lunch, then continue to Wutai Shan (Mount Wutai – sacred
Buddhist mountain associated with Manjushri Bodhisattva). Hotel
check-in, dinner, free time and overnight at Wutai Shan.
DAY 02: WUTAI SHAN SIGHTSEEING (3 meals) – Oct 11, 2027
Breakfast. Visit Bodhisattva Peak (Pusa Ding), Tayuan Temple, Xiantong
Temple (largest and most important temple of Wutai Shan), and Ten
Thousand Buddhas Pavilion. Take cable car to Dailuo Peak (site of five
Manjushri Bodhisattva statues, visited by Emperor Qianlong). Dinner and
overnight at Wutai Shan
DAY 03: WUTAI SHAN – TAIYUAN – CHENGDU (3 meals) – Oct 12,2027
Breakfast and check-out. Visit Shuxiang Temple (largest Manjushri Bodhisattva statue, Ming Dynasty). Lunch,
return to Taiyuan for dinner, then flight to Chengdu. Hotel check-in and overnight.
DAY 04: CHENGDU – LESHAN – EMEI SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 13, 2027
Early breakfast, check-out. Travel to Leshan, lunch, cruise to view Leshan
Giant Buddha (world’s largest Maitreya Buddha statue carved from a
mountain). Continue to Emei Shan (Mount Emei – bodhimanda of
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva). Visit Great Buddha Zen Monastery.
Dinner and overnight at Emei Shan.
DAY 05: EMEI SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 14, 2027
Breakfast. Shuttle bus and cable car to Golden Summit (3,077m). Visit Huazang Temple. Lunch. Visit Baoguo
Temple and Avatamsaka Sutra relief sculptures. Dinner and overnight at Emei Shan.
DAY 06: CHENGDU ✈ NANJING (3 meals) – Oct 15, 2027
Breakfast, check-out. Return to Chengdu, lunch and shopping at Tibetan Street (if time is flexible). Flight to Nanjing. Dinner, hotel check-in and overnight
DAY 07: NANJING – JIUHUA SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 16, 2027
Breakfast, check-out. Visit Buddha’s Usnisa Palace (exterior).
Lunch, transfer to Jiuhua Shan (Mount Jiuhua – bodhimanda of
Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva). Dinner and overnight on the mountain.
DAY 08: JIUHUA SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 17, 2027
Breakfast. Visit Huacheng Temple, Flesh Body Hall (preserved
body of Venerable Kim Qiaojue – incarnation of Ksitigarbha
Bodhisattva). Lunch. Cable car to Baisui Palace, Five Hundred
Arhats Hall, Dongya Chan Temple. Dinner and over night in Jiu Hua Shan
DAY 09: JIUHUA SHAN – GREAT VOW KSHITIGARBHA PARK (3 meals) – Oct 18, 2027
Breakfast. Visit Dizang Temple and Lotus Buddha Land.
Lunch, check-out. Visit Great Vow Ksitigarbha Park,
Hongyuan Hall, and the 99m bronze statue of Ksitigarbha
Bodhisattva. Overnight at foothills.
DAY 10: JIUHUA SHAN – WUXI (3 meals) – Oct 19, 2027
Breakfast. Travel to Wuxi. Visit Lingshan Grand Buddha (108m) and Brahma Palace, Five Mudra Mandala.
Dinner and overnight in Wuxi.
DAY 11: WUXI – NINGBO (3 meals) – Oct 20, 2027
Breakfast, check-out. Travel to Ningbo via Hangzhou Bay Bridge (43km).
Visit Guoqing Temple (Tiantai Mountain). Overnight in Ningbo.
DAY 12: NINGBO – PUTUO SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 21, 2027
Breakfast. Visit Xuedou Temple (associated with Monk Budai – incarnation of Maitreya Bodhisattva). Lunch.
Ferry to Putuo Shan (Mount Putuo – Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva). Overnight.
DAY 13: PUTUO SHAN (3 meals) – Oct 22, 2027
Breakfast. Visit Guanyin Not Willing to Leave, Purple Bamboo
Grove, South Sea Avalokiteshvara Statue (33m). Lunch. Visit
Puji Temple, Duobao Pagoda, Old Street. Overnight.
DAY 14: PUTUO SHAN – ZHOUSHAN (3 meals) – Oct 23,2027
Cable car to Buddha Peak Mountain. Visit Huiji Temple and
Fayu Temple (associated with Patriarch Yinguang). Lunch. Transfer to Zhoushan. Overnight.
DAY 15: ZHOUSHAN – SHANGHAI (3 meals) – Oct 24, 2027
Breakfast, check-out. Travel to Shanghai. Visit The Bund and
Nanjing Road. Overnight in Shanghai.
DAY 16: SHANGHAI – HO CHI MINH CITY (2 meals) – Oct 25,2027
Breakfast. Check out and visit Jade Buddha Temple. After lunch
transfer to airport for return flight. End of tour
