Early check out, transfer to airport and departure to Paro by Druk Air. Experience the most exciting landing with a beautiful view of the mountains and the lush green fields. Your tour guides will receive you upon our arrival to Bhutan with Tashi Khadar (white scarf offering to welcome guest in an auspicious way) - the land of Gross National Happiness.
You will then proceed to Thimphu. If early check in possible then the group can check in hotel first and rest.
Go out for lunch in a restaurant in Thimphu Town. Later in the evening, you may visit the
Tashichodzong a beautiful fortress that has been the seat of the Bhutanese Government since
1907, but there’s a spiritual aspect to it as well. It also holds the Throne Room for His Majesty the Fifth King.
Centenary Farmers market is the largest domestic market for the farmers in Bhutan. Farmers come from all over the country to sell their farm products in the market. With its wide assortment of fresh and organic produce, the Farmer’s Market has become a favorite spot for tourists and a recreational place for people from all walks of life
After breakfast, let start for wonderful day in Thimphu with the first highlight
buddhist site: Buddha Dordenma: The magnificent Buddha Dordenma is the largest sitting statue of Buddha measuring 51.5 meters in height and made of solid bronze.
The Folk Heritage Museum is dedicated to connecting people with Bhutan's rich folk heritage and rural history through exhibits, demonstrations, educational programmes, and documentation of Bhutanese rural life. The museum strives to preserve and disseminate this heritage across generations.
Royal Takin preserve: Takin is the National animal of Bhutan and also an endangered animal. an animal supposed to have the body of a cow and head of a goat, believed to have been created by Buddhist Master popularly known as Divine Mad Man.
Overnight in Thimphu
Check out and departure to Gantey, begin you journey to Gangtey via Dochula Pass marked by 108 stupas. We will stop at Dochula to enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the Eastern Himalaya ranges.
Your lunch shall be served in a restaurant on the way.
After reaching Gangtey, visit the Gangtey monastery and hike down to the valley from Gangtey monastery.
Gangtey nature trail allows you to catch hold of the beauty of Phobjikha valley. You may spend some time taking pictures in the beautiful valley of Phobjikha, the winter home for the rare black necked crane.
Visit the crane center. The center showcases interesting facts about the blacked necked cranes in form of videos, brochures and diagrammatic presentations. There is also a superb viewing room with a spotting scope from which one can observe the cranes from the center. Over night in Gantey.
After breakfast drive to Punakha.
Sightseeing in Punakha:
Punakha Dzong: The Palace of Bliss or Great Happiness’, Punakha Dzong was built in 1637. The location of the majestic fortress is said to have been chosen by the founder of Bhutan, Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. Punakha Dzong takes pride in being the second oldest and also the second largest dzong in Bhutan. The dzong is part of the Drukpa Lineage of the Kagyu school of Buddhism in Bhutan.
Suspension Bridge: Punakha Suspension bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan. The bridge offers a spectacular view of the river and valley, and the east bank is a good starting point for multi-day treks in the nearby mountains.
Over night in Punaka
After check out, departure to Paro. On the way to Paro visit Chimi Lhakhang: Chimi Lhakhang was built in 1499 by the 14th Drukpa hierarch, Ngawang Choegyel, after the site was blessed by
‘the Divine Madman’ the maverick saint, Drukpa Kuenley. Famously known as the temple of fertility, the lhakhang draws local people, from near and far, to receive blessings from the lama (monk). Continue your journey to Paro, Visit 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang (A temple of historical significance and one of the most sacred shrines in Bhutan.
Later in the evening stroll around beautiful Paro town for coffee and shopping. Over night in Paro
No visit to Bhutan is complete without visiting Tigers Nest Monastry.
The Tiger’s Nest or the Taktsang is one of the most popular spiritual heritage sites, perched precariously on the rock face of a sheer cliff 900m above the valley.
Although it may be a little difficult trek you don’t need to be an experienced mountaineer to complete the trek to Bhutan’s most famous landmark. A little preparation and fair dose of perseverance is all that’s required. With a total distance of 6.4Km (3 to 5Hr trek) depending on your pace, the trek offers mesmerizing view of the valley.

After breakfast, check out, transfer to the airport, departure to Viet nam, transit in Bangkok and get connecting flight back to Ho Chi Minh city – End of the Pilgrimage trip to Bhutan. See you nex trip.
