GENERAL INFORMATION & TERMS
1) Cancellation Policy:
• Force Majeure: If Zenflower Travel cancels the tour due to uncontrollable events (weather, natural
disasters, epidemics, strikes, war, etc.), a written notice will be provided. The deposit will be refunded
in cash after deducting non-recoverable service expenses (visa fees, flight deposits, etc.). No further
compensation will be provided.
• Visa Rejection: If your visa application is denied by the Embassy/Consulate, a visa processing fee of
USD 120/person applies. The remaining deposit will be refunded in cash.
• Unilateral Cancellation by Customer: Written notification and the original deposit receipt must be
submitted in person (cancellations via phone are not accepted). The following fee schedule applies:
o Immediately after booking/deposit: Penalty of 10% of total tour price.
o 45–60 working days before departure: Penalty of 30% of total tour price.
o 30–44 working days before departure: Penalty of 50% of total tour price.
o 25–29 working days before departure: Penalty of 70% of total tour price.
o Within 10 working days before departure: Penalty of 100% of total tour price. (Working days
exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).
2) Supplements & Mandatory Tipping:
• Solo travelers requiring a single room must pay a single room supplement.
• Tipping for the local guide, driver, and luggage porters is mandatory at USD 8/person/day (USD
64/person total for the tour), collected prior to departure.
IMPORTANT NOTES
• Overseas Vietnamese & Foreign Passport Holders: Must bring their physical loose-leaf visas (if
applicable) during travel.
• Terms Agreement: Please review the itinerary, pricing, inclusions, exclusions, and cancellation terms
carefully. If registered by a third party, please ensure you receive all details from them.
• Itinerary & Price Adjustments: Itinerary sequence and prices are subject to change based on actual
local conditions at registration time.
• Passport Validity: Passports must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the tour end date.
• Visa Lead Time: Requires a minimum of 7 working days (Vietnamese passports) or 10 working days
(foreign passports). Please register at least 20 working days before departure.
• Requirements: Prepare 04 passport photos (4cm x 6cm, white background) and COVID-19
vaccination certificates.
• Eligibility Constraints: Children under 12 years old, pregnant women, and individuals with health
issues preventing safe travel are not eligible.
• Seniors (56+): Additional premium insurance surcharge applies per insurance company policy.
• Seniors (75+): Requires a medical clearance certificate from a doctor confirming fitness for overseas
travel, and must be accompanied by a healthy companion under 60 years old.
• Force Majeure Disclaimer: No liability is assumed for missed attractions caused by natural disasters,
security incidents (terrorism/protests), or airline disruptions (flight delays, cancellations, or technical
issues).
• Transit Note: Train transport is not included in this itinerary.
• Dress Code: Per Sri Lankan regulations, white clothing is mandatory at all Buddhist sacred sites;
please prepare white attire for the trip.

Pick up the group at Colombo International Airport. Our local guide and driver will meet you at the
airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
Overnight in Negombo (about a 30-minute drive from the airport)
Day 02: COLOMBO – ANURADHAPURA | August 21, 2027 (B, L, D)

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast, check out, and depart for
Anuradhapura—one of the world's greatest ancient
civilizations spanning over 1,300 glorious years under 113
kings.
• Sightseeing & Worship:
• Sri Maha Bodhi: Pay homage to the 2,200-year-old
sacred Bodhi tree, grown from a cutting of the original
tree in Bodhgaya.
• Ancient Heritage Sites: Explore the city to worship at
the massive Ruwanweliseya dagoba along Basawakkulama, the Samadhi Buddha Statue, and the Isurumuniya Rock Temple—treasured legacies of Sri Lanka's mightiest dynasty.
• Overnight: Anuradhapura
Day 03: ANURADHAPURA – MIHINTALE – AUKANA – POLONNARUWA | August 22, 2027 (B/L/D)

Day 04: POLONNARUWA | August 23, 2027 (B/L/D)

• Morning: Breakfast at the hotel. Depart with our guide
and driver to explore Polonnaruwa—one of Sri Lanka's
oldest kingdoms and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
• Gal Vihara: Marvel at the 5th-century rock-cut
Buddha statues, considered the finest masterpieces of
the ancient capital.
• Afternoon: Proceed to the ancient Somawathiya Stupa,
set within an archaeological site containing historical
Tooth Relic shrines from past dynasties.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner and overnight stay in Polonnaruwa.
Day 05: POLONARUWA – MATALE – KANDY | August 24, 2027 (B/L/D)

• Morning: Visit Dambulla to explore the Dambulla Cave
Temple—Sri Lanka's largest and best-preserved rocktemple complex, home to revered ancient Buddha statues
and murals.
• Afternoon: Transfer to Matale for lunch, then visit the
Aluvihare Rock Temple, the historic site of the 4th
Buddhist Council where the Pali Canon was first
committed to writing. Pay homage to the sacred scriptures
before proceeding to Kandy.
• Evening: Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy
Day 06: KANDY | August 25, 2027 (B/L/D)

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast and visit Kandy—a UNESCO World Heritage site and the last royal capital of
Sri Lanka (until 1815). Explore the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, which houses the sacred tooth brought
to the island in 313 AD.
• Evening: Attend the opening ceremony of the famed Sacred Tooth Relic Procession (Esala Perahera).
Night: Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy
Day 07: KANDY – KURUNEGALA – KELANIYA – COLOMBO | August 25, 2027 (B/L/D)

• Morning: Enjoy breakfast and depart for Kelaniya. Stop en route at Kurunegala to visit:
o Na Uyana Forest Monastery: An ancient 3rd-century BCE meditation monastery set in the Dummiya mountain range.
o Siri Gautama Sambuddharaja Temple: A magnificent temple funded by global Buddhist donations to mark the 2,600th Buddha Jayanti.
• Afternoon: Proceed to Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara—a major temple from the 3rd century BCE, venerated as the site of the Buddha's third visit to Sri Lanka.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner, check in, and overnight stay in Colombo.
Day 08: COLOMBO – BANGKOK | August 27, 2027 (B/L)
Morning: Early check-out and visit Gangaramaya Temple and Ashokaramaya Temple.
• Departure: Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bangkok, connecting to your final destination (USA /
Ho Chi Minh City).
• Conclusion: End of the Sri Lanka Sacred Buddhist Pilgrimage Tour. Goodbye and see you again!
